IMG_6885.JPG A rimfire picture thread is very cool. I like that stuff. Here's my first gun; a Winchester Model 67 that's been in the family since the late 1930's. I'll post the other ones that are around here one at a time as I get the opportunity. This was my dad's small game & woodchuck rifle before WW2 interrupted things for a few years. Back in the 1990's I sometimes carried on the 22 rimfire woodchuck hunting tradition by helping cull 'chucks on my buddies property with it . This woodchuck was probably the first one that rifle had taken since before WW2...... IMG_2745.JPG ....

Really enjoying this thread. Here's a Winchester Model 121-D, which was their single shot .22 from 1964 to 1967. Got it at a gun show in 1995 with no scope or sling and the varnish (?) or whatever the stock was finished with, was peeling off. Stripped it and refinished with some kind of poly wood finish that I can't recall now. Put on a Bushnell Banner 4x and a sling and it's good to go. IMG_1900.JPG .. IMG_1906.JPG .. IMG_1910.JPG ...

I think I like rimfires a little bit…:)

Here's my first gun; a Winchester Model 67

Ditto.
Got mine on my tenth birthday in 1967.
Still have it.
It was my Grandfather's on my Mom's side.
My Sister and I shot many grouse's heads off with it back in the day. She was a better shot than her older brother.....:cuss:

It will soon be passed done to one of my Grand kids. :)

A Burgsmüller, Kreiensen-Pattensen re-branded Anschütz 1420. Burgsmüller had been one of the biggest firearms distributors in Germany and H.Weihrauch, Voere and Anschutz had their guns re-branded when their guns were catalogued Burgsmüller items; normally they were sold as Burgo.

My SW 22 Victory collecting business cards and my first gun, a Marlin 60 sporting Tech Sights, ready for spring scrubbing. I’ve since removed them and installed a Simmons 4x fixed scope and reinstalled and zeroed the factory sights, seen in the background. I might remove the scope. I kinda like the factory sights. I need to add a picture of my Henry H001 but don’t have any.

I still shoot the Marlin Glenfield M25 my dad bought me for my 16th birthday fairly regularly. It has a new stock, shorter barrel and different sights now, but it still gives me the same grown-up feeling. I've shown its photos here plenty of times.

My latest two rimfire rifles are also my oldest: a Remington No.4 rolling block with a relined barrel and a Winchester M1906 pump. Both were listed (well, the 1890 Winchester, not the 1906 version) in the 1894 facsimile Sears catalog on my shelf.

Oh, and just yesterday I took my Husqvarna M98 sporter to the indoor range using my Erma No. 3 single shot rimfire conversion insert. I'd just added a new bolt sleeve I bought off Gunbroker with a M70-like side-swinging safety.

This skinny steel tube produces magnificent accuracy in both the Husqvarna and my Yugo reworked K98k (M98/48)
