that is a little heavy to be carrying all day i think. it would be good under heavy chlothing but i want a 1911 that i will be able to carry in more situations, and with multiple atires.

Here's mine: S&W 1911PD Commander size with a Bobtail in an Andrew's MacDaniel II. She's wearing a set of thin Afzelia wood grips I made for her and I also added stainless controls to match the barrel bushing, trigger and hammer. I love EVERYTHING about this rig.

This one is my daily carry, at least for a little bit longer. As soon as the holster for my S&W 610 gets here it will go into rotation with this one.
It doesn't see a lot of concealed carry anymore, but sure does see a lot of open carry.
