some Walmarts have stoped selling guns, others I've been in still have them.

It is a great folder for a 10/22. I have one for a win 1300 and I am getting rid of it. This is a great camp/canoe/plinker gun. I have a lot of fun with this.

This is the only tacticool rifle I have. Ramline folding stock. Simmons 4x scope with see-thru rings, Ramline 30 rd mag.

The Ramline stock is ok but the Ramline mags are junk. How are the Butler Creek hi cap mags? Are there any other hi cap mags on the market that are any good?

Ummm.Mr.White you shall have to pardon my ignorance if I am wrong, but I have a set of Weaver scope rings like that for my 10/22 as well. It appears as though yours are on backwards  . My Ramlines work great, they just dont hold 30 rounds. Its more like a 26-28 rounder depending on the ammo type (CCI products must have slightly larger dimensions). One magazine maker you didnt list is Hot Lips. I have heard good things about them. Oh and its a little pricey but MWG makes a 50 round drum which looks like fun :D .

They will fit either way to compensate for adjustment turret position of different length scopes.

"Hot LIps" are a Butler Creek brand name.

Yeah, What he said. :)

I actually had them the other way but I flipped them around to get the eye relief comfortable to my hold.

They're made by Ruger.

There's a few different varieties of 10/22s on the market. A plain vanilla one will set you back about $175. There's all kinds of tacticool and other add-ons available for this gun. different stocks, barrels, other parts, magazines, ...

If you don't have one, you should get one if semiauto .22s are legal in Kali.

nothing is legal in this state, I hope they are though

10/22's are legal in california, and, best of all, because they're rimfire, they aren't subject to california's assault weapon rules. put all the folding stocks, hi-cap mags, pistol grips, and flashiders you want on this thing.

Hi-cap mags are not legal in California, no matter what kind of ammo they hold. I know, it's lame, but that's just how it is. :banghead:

Other than that, you're right, the AWB does not apply to rimfires.

"Oh and I just noticed Loner5657 is there a bolt hold open on that rifle?"

No last shot hold open, just the factory hold open on the bottom left side of the trigger group. I thought about trying one of the hold open devices from CST, but I didn't want to modify all of my mags (30+) to make it function.

Squidward: I don't know about how it would look with the 'olive' Hogue stock, this is more the direction I'm heading....

There is a hold open device that you manually lock open, but it drops when you pull the bolt back. I have one on mine, easier to lock open than factory, but I don't remember who made it (I think from Volquartzen).

Smince: or you can modify the stock one to do the same thing in about 5 minutes with a dremel tool and save the $10+ shipping.

WRONG!!!!!!

High Caps are legal in CA, ONLY if they were were owned prior to 2000. I personally have a ton of high caps for my different guns ranging from an AR, AK, FAL, 10/22 and etc. And I take them to the range all the time here in CA.

But you are right about rimfire rifles not being considered an AW in CA, so you can put a folder on one or flashhider etc. And if you are in posession of a grandfathered 25 rounder, then your good to go.

10-22 and coll go hand in hand

I have one, all tricked out but not tactical, just a Christiansen carbonfiber barrel, a Volquartzen trigger gaurd, and some good gunsmithing and a Houge rubber stock and HUGE Bushnell 6~24 X 50 scope. Man, this is one of the few guns that is in my collection I will not part with unless the price is incredible, like over a grand! It will (off the bench) put all 10 rounds thru the same ragged hole at 25 yards.

Loaner!

Hey Loaner, does that break work? Is there a difference? I may get one for mine.....their cheap enough.
