I will assume its safe to say a majority of high roaders have a 10/22, and with good reason. The 10/22 is a good do all rifle. From getting small game, to plinking. But one roll that always makes me laugh is as an "assault rifle". Lets see some pics of Bill Rugers baby all dressed up for battle. I wanna see folding stocks, red dots, flash hiders ( I have yet to see one with a bayonet). Show us all your tin can killer of doom :D .

I love my 10/22.

No pics, but it's got a BC side-folder, handguard and muzzlebrake. Stainless all the way. Stick a 25-rd. Hot Lips in it and it looks pretty tacticool.

I'll get a photo of my pore boy tactirifle I made for Mom

Simply a tac-light and red dot, with one of those plastic extended magazines for easy access mounted on a standard stocked carbine.
It's designed more for a raccoon gun than anything else
I'm thinking about getting one of the bullpup stocks for it

Evil Black Rifle.

Here is one of my 10/22 rifles. That is no photoshop, that is a 4x ATN-390 Paladin night vision scope on top of that rifle. (Got it on clearance at Cabelas.) Those bunnies think they are safe in the dark, not with this thing.

I'll have to get a pic of my other one.

It's all black, does that make it tactical?

Needs a huge muzzle brake too.
That thing is heavy enough without a chunk of metal hanging off the end of the barrel. Actualy, since most of the weight is kind of far back it is not hard to hold for extended periods of time. I also converted to scope to take AA batteries since 123 Lithiums are expencive.

Nothing like a 20 lbs scope to add some weight to a little rifle, eh? ROFL! I've been wanting a night scope for my SKS, but they're still a little high. Someday. I want it for hogs. Then again, wonder if it'd handle the recoil of a 7 mag?

Nothing too tacticool about my 10/22. I put a really neat Hogue stock on it, but other than that it's the basic stainless model. I pimped out my AR7. It's a cheap rifle and just sorta begged for it. LOL

Sorry I just realized how rude of me it was to start this thread without posting my own pic  . Here we are nothing too kewl except for the cheap $30.00 Wal-Mart Red Dot (BSA it works quite well), and 30 rounder (actually more like 29 the last one dont fit). I plan to add a Butler Creek stainless side folding stock soon though. Hey its just for fun ;) .On a side note, anyone want to send me a better camera so I can take pics that dont suck?

Yeah, I got a one of those $30 BSA red dots on the 10/22 I used to terrorize rabbits and snakes with in New Mexico.

Edit to add: Glockfan, if your going to put a side folder on that rifle of yours I'd be willing to give the stock you got on there now a good home free of charge.

All the doom & gloom threads about the election inspired me to add this thought. Everything you see above (except for the mag) was purchased at Wal-Mart. Although we gripe about our gun laws here you still gotta love a country where you can walk into a store, and buy a gallon of milk, loaf of bread, package of socks, rifle, scope, sling, and a few boxes of high velocity hollow points all in one trip. I cant think of any other country where this is possible. If only WW would sell handuns, better rifles, and high cap magazines :) .

My daughter tain't real tacticool, but cute. My EBR 10/22
Butler Creek Folding stock, Williams peep sight, BC 25 round mag and some goofy flash hider and a Super sling.

I know Eyes and what is with that goofy grip of her left hand???
