The Baby Eagle is cataloged as "black steel" which I take to mean a black oxide finish, like bluing only a flat texture.
CZ P01 is cataloged with a "Polycoat" coating finish. I don't know if it is an improvement over the old enameled guns or not.
Beretta 92FS is finished in "Bruniton" which is a Teflon containing coating applied over parkerized steel or anodized aluminum.
P226 is either blued or Ilaflon which is a cured coating.
P229 is Nitron which is a QPQ nitride finish somewhat like Tennifer or Melonite.
(Sig-Sauer Classics have anodized aluminum frames.)
