Letter to Anti-Gun Waffle House

I always wanted to eat there as my area lacks them though we have IHOP. I guess I'm not missing much and I've heard it's dirty there before.

I love the Waffle House and consider both Joe Rogers Sr and Jr friends.

I have had this discussion with JR and he told me the only way he can keep both sides of the issue happy is to post signs. Waffle House policy is to post them far away from the door at the other end of the building.

Honestly, you really have to look for them to see them.

I will never understand the mind set of someone that gets into it with a business over their gun policy.
A business is private, and can set any rules they wish.

My carrying a gun is private too. Lubys Cafeteria in Killeen Texas had a 'no guns' policy also. When 24 died there on Aug. 10th, 2001, I decided that no posted sign would ever put me in a position where I could not defend my self, or my family.

3 gun,

You are in error in stating that a business in Ohio that prohibits CCW is liable for damages suffered because patrons could not be armed. You cited [R.C.2923.126(C)(2)(a-b)].

That paragraph states:

A private employer is immune from liability in a civil action for any injury, death, or loss to person or property that allegedly was caused by or related to the private employer’s decision to permit a licensee to bring, or prohibit a licensee from bringing, a handgun onto the premises or property of the private employer.
Emphasis mine.

Just as it's important to use correct grammar and spelling, it's important to give correct information. A business that knows the law would think you were using baseless arguments, or are just ignorant of the facts. Neither is going to help your cause.
