B.S. detector just went off. I fiire my 30-30 and rack the action withour ever taking my eye from the scope or losing sight picture.

30-30 hands down. I also have a sks, totaly sported out and while I could use it,Ii like my 30-30 much much better.

Someone who's emptying their magazine while out hunting really doesn't need a semi-auto, they need range time.

Not that there's anything wrong with using semis for hunting, but rapid fire is a combat rather than a hunting technique. For hunting, that first shot is always the one that counts and nine times out of ten if you need the second one it's to finish off an animal that you only wounded with the first shot. More than two shots and you're doing something wrong.
