SOG has one for sale for $359.

An 1887 Lever Action Shotgun.

I suspect it is a Chinese knockoff, but....I've always been intrigued by this firearm.

Does anybody have a Lever Action Shotgun? How do they shoot? Are they worth the money? Give me a review please.

I have shot one. I now think I know what the motivating force was to develop the pump action shotgun. I most assuredly hated it. And, I am a lever action rifle fan, from 22 to 45-70.

Had a bolt .410 belonged to an aunt, got stolen. Yeah, it was awkward. Wouldn't mind owning a Marlin super goose 10, though. Effective multi shot 10 for not so much money. You don't need a rapid reload while goose hunting, generally, and it'd be faster than my H&R single shot, LOL.

I've heard disparaging things about that Chinese copy, but I've never handled one. In my experience with things Chinese, though, buyer beware. First blush, those China Tokarevs were functional guns, but service life, said right in the manual, was 2500 rounds. Mine was lookin' pretty rough at 400 or so just from the frame/slide pounding. Then again, I have a couple of Norinco SKSs that will probably outlast the human race.

I have shot them in Cowboy Action matches --- THEY ARE FUN -- but have a REALLY long lever throw.
Most of the Chinese ones need a little smoothing and trigger work but seem to be well built as far as strength.
