Load Recommendation 10mm Auto Revolver.

Hello all.

I have a Ruger GP100 Match Champion in 10mm.

I ran out of my Hi-Skor 800-X and will be using Winchester 244. Here are the specs.

10mm Auto
175gr or 180gr LSWC or LRN bullet
Winchester LPP

I have looked at Hodgdon website and they have no data for the type of bullets I have. Obviously I have not scoured every reloading publication ever made. Hodgdon does have data for 180gr NLG CTD bullets.

I was going to make a few test loads at around 6.5gr of 244. Does anyone have any other data or any input?

I’d use the Hodgdon data for the 180gr NLG, it’s for a flat point, and of course there’s the COL they spec. Your bullets may not be the same length, therefore the seating depth may be a bit different, so I’d start with the Hodgdon start data.

Keep an eye out for Longshot or Blue Dot when your out an about....... or BE-86, Or Power Pistol.....or AA#9........ you'd probably be much better off.
However, I believe you should be able to get by with what you have, it will just take some careful workup.
