Has anyone tried one of the Deluxe Edition C&B revolvers from Long Hunter Shooting Supply?

My one and only percussion revolver ('51 Navy) is at Goon's for an action job- thought it might be nice to have something to shoot during the extended wait.

Though not as extensive as Goon's, they do some custom work on them and keep it in a more traditional form.

Thinking about the '61 Navy to use the same ball and powder measure as my '51, but with a little different look. http://www.longhunt.com/web/index.p...ck-Powder-Shooting-Custom-Percussion-Revolver

I saw the Long Hunter video on their percussion pistols and the guns looked pretty nice. Very well finished and I noticed they reamed the cylinders on the Uberti 51 Navy(wasn't quite clear, but I believe that's what was said) and recommended a .380 round ball. Interesting comments about how Colt designed the rammer to deliberately seat a specific charge. Very funny at the end of the video where the demonstrater almost had to use the Navy on a turkey that wouldn't let him back in his pick-up truck.

Long Hunter has done a lot of work for me in the past. They slicked up my SxS my 73 rifle and reworked the hammers on my 1860 Uberti army's. They do excellent work! I highly recommend them.
