Yep, if I were you, I'd get out of that state ASAP.
As for the gunshop owners, they knew the law. I think the law is stupid, but it is the law. For us to be taken seriously in our quest for gun friendly laws, we must follow the ones that are on the books. I don't think you should have to apply for a ccw and pay to have one and all that jazz either, but I'm not going to carry until I legally have one.

Unless I'm missing something, this is an article about a couple of gun dealers breaking the law and getting caught.

Honestly, I can't say I have a problem with that. It's idiots like them that give the anti's fuel for their propaganda machine.

Kingpin is correct....even the dumb laws must be obeyed. But a 10-month/$80,000 investigation to find a flash suppressor in place of a muzzle break? We just lost half our local gun shops. Oddly enough, a few months ago I was talking M1A's at the bar one night with one of the named subjects. Now he's looking at 15 years.

As stupid as the law that they allegedly broke is, if they were actually doing what the police allege, the people involved are stupid as well.

I really don't feel bad for the owner, the people I feel bad for are the employees. They were probably told by the boss that it was OK as the guns had been temporarily modified to be in compliance with the law.
