• Obama and Biden would repeal the Tiahrt Amendment, which restricts the ability of local law enforcement to access important gun trace information, and give police officers across the nation the tools they need to solve gun crimes and fight the illegal arms trade.
• They support closing the gun show loophole and making guns in this country childproof.
• They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent.

B) It doesn't matter what Obama wants. Congress has to pass it first.

they are going to claim a lot of things the next four years. what we need to figure out is how to publicly dispell those cliams so america knows the truth. since the press is on the side of obama and all the other anti's, this is going to be a real challenge.

Still, it's Presidential Agenda now, not just campaigning. It does make a difference and people should know, especially people who may have fallen for the AHSA stories lately.
