Lookin for recoil reducer for XD-40

I current own a Springfield XD-40 (V10 ported ) model and I am currently looking for a recoil reducer guide rod and spring . SPRINCO makes a recoil reducer and spring for the Springfield Tactical model ONLY . Does anyone know who else makes a recoil reducer that will fit my Handgun?.....:banghead:

Don's guiderods, I'm sure he'd be willing to machine one out of tungsten for you.

Do you find the recoil that objectionable? I have the same model and I agree the recoil is nice and snappy, but not objectionable.

What I do find rather objectionable is the muzzle blast in my face and a dirty front sight after a couple of magazines

I am also looking at the DGR mod. You should go over to the XD site and take a look around. Lots of good info over there.

I could be wrong, but Don just makes solid guide rod. I think he's looking for something like the Sprinco model for the 5" Tactical, only for the 4 inch service pistol. I have Don's guiderod in my 5" Tactical.

Have you tried an XD9, i find that reduces recoil dramatically.

walking arsenal beat me to it. a 9mm barrel will do wonders for both reducing recoil and reducing cost per shot.
