Hi all, looking for a FN FNX .45 Tactical holster. It's a big gun, probably OWB and kydex is called for, but looking for ideas. Thanks a million y'all.

You're not planning on putting a light on it, correct? A light will complicate matters, especially if you're picking something that isn't a Surefire or Streamlight.

Just got a Blade Tech. Seems OK, has 2 mounts for carry. One is a traditional, "feed the belt through", and the other is like a clamp. It's a pain to go from one to the other. It has a pretty big cut out for the Holosun 507c but I've plenty of open site options and at 64 yo it's fun to try something new.

I'm glad you found something for your pistol.

Probably the Adjustable String Ray or ASR/SRB mount https://blade-tech.com/products/asr

and the other is like a clamp.
This is the Tek-Lok https://blade-tech.com/products/tek-lok?variant=7745317273628

That cutout is there whether you have an optic or not. It is the standard feature of the holster. https://blade-tech.com/products/classic-owb?variant=4994186215452

OK, thanks for tuning my review. You know, these kydex holster systems don't really come with directions and it seems to me I'll do it wrong as often as not. I have a Safari Land holster that I don't even use. It's over my head, not like it used to be.
