Looking for a new rifle...

Unless there is a reason you want to stick to 5.56, I would look at getting an AR in another caliber. Or even a 5.56/.223 Wylde in another length.

What kind of shooting do you do? What do you want to use the new rifle for? Do you have access to a range where you can shoot out beyond 100 yards? Does that even interest you?

Funny how tastes vary. Everyone who`s shot my Aug has fallen in love. Very smooth and fun. Trigger upgrades are fairly cheap. Muscle memory thing is overrated. Shoot it a bit and you're fine.

Scorpion Evo is silly reliable for PCC type but go with the pistol length because inches of barrel don't matter much with 9mm. Keep it short and quick.

Tavor is fantastic and FS2000 is surprisingly accurate (and great for lefties).

Cetme L are beautiful and soft shooters. Boringly reliable with great visual appeal.

Vepr in 6.5 Grendel is a personal favorite. Mine is 23" barrel set up in Dragunov style and reaches out very well. Looking for 1 with 16 in barrel for better portability. Grendel is a great round in AR as well. Had great success with Unimags although they top out at about 26 rounds. Very accurate at pretty long range. If a 5.56 and 7.62x39 had a baby it would be grendel.

Robinson M96 and XCR are both superb rifles. Great quality and just different enough to be interesting.

Love the AR platform (I have about 14 in 6 calibers) but I have to say variety has great appeal to me. There are many "not an AR" and "not an AK" guns that are joy to own and shoot. Give the kids something to fight over when you're gone!

Sold my RDB & my scorpion EVO 3 S1 is for sale right now.

I'll consider an AUG in the future if a nice deal pops up
