I am a french shooter and for a 1911 I use parts from Ed Brown, Wilson, Hogue, springs from Wolf .

In september I have to make a trip in America.

Can you tell me where I can buyl for this items in Las Vegas, Amarillo, Memphis, Nashville, Chattanooga or Altanta.

C'est plus facile de communiquer en français.
J'ai besoin de quelques articles pour améliorer un 1911 classique.
Tige de ressort récupérateur, shock buffer, ressort récupérateur, ressort de chien, ressort 3 branches, ressort de percuteur et peut être quelques pièces sûreté allongée...

Auparavant je possédais un national match et un gold cup série 70 et je faisais venir mes pièces sans problème maintenant c'est plus compliqué voire impossible..

Peut être serait il plus simple pour ne pas encombrer le forum que nous communiquions par mail personnel : [email protected] je vis dans la région de Nice.

If he is looking for springs, Wolff would be the folks to go to. Order them online and have them delivered to his hotel room; otherwise, contact Wilson, Brown or Baer and do the same thing

Order them online to be delivered to your hotel room. You can freely buy every part of a 1911 except the frame with no restrictions. I don’t know if they will give you a hard time at the airport going home. They probably won’t notice the small parts you listed but they may take issue with large parts like a slide, barrel, or magazines.

I have a friend from Australia who does this with car parts. Every time he comes to the US for work he orders a few hundred dollars worth of car parts to his hotel and takes them home in a duffle bag.

Never had to deal with ITAR much myself, but I’m not sure how much you’ll actually be able to legally purchase, or rather legally take home with you. Non-resident, non-immigrant aliens can’t buy firearms for use in the US, only for immediate export, and while parts aren’t firearms, ITAR does restrict what parts can and cannot be exported without license.

I’d do some more research before I made plans to buy a bunch of parts on an international vacation, let alone a serialized firearm.
