Looking for a sling

Hey all since I can't find any 300 blackout uppers anywhere I've decided to get a couple more accessories for my AR. First on my list is a sling. I'll eventually take it hunting (take that nay-sayers) and out shooting in the desert so I figure a sling would be practical. However, the problem is I know nothing about slings. A buddy recommended a 2 point 3 point sling but I thought I'd ask around here for a little more detail. Btw I have a Magpul ASAP yesterday that's already installed.

For hunting, I'd choose a two point sling. A single point sling would allow too much movement while I was walking around. That said, sling choice is about as varied and contentious as scope choice or rifle choice. I would say there is nothing wrong with having multiple slings for a single rifle for multiple purposes. Why not run a M1903 pattern sling for hunting and a Magpul MS2 or 3 or VTAC. or similar for everything else?

My personal favorite is the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) slings with paracord mounting points. Fast, easy, and comfortable in use.
