Looking for Range Grips for a S&W 19

I have a S&W 19 4" that came with standard target wooden grips. While they look nice, they just don't fit my hand at all, so I'm looking to alternatives.

For those with rubber grips on their k-frames, do you suggest Hogue or Pachmayer? Sure, they'll both be ugly, but it's all about comfort here.

The other idea I had is to get some nice Ahrends wood grips, though I am not sure how they would feel shooting - especially on the .357 end. Ahrends even has a target style grip that is smaller which looks nice and might be a good option.

So, the preference here would be function over looks.

I put Hogue rubber monogrips on all but my CCW revolvers. They don't cover the backstrap like the Pachmayrs, which makes the double action trigger reach too long for me.

If you was pretty and functional, Hogue has the the same grip in wood. Very nice...

Here is my M-19-5 4" with Pacmyers.

They work great.

Ugly as they are I still like the Hogue monogrips which leave the backstrap exposed. Looks are secondary when it comes to a comfortable range gun and you can't beat the price. The contour of the finger cutouts don't align with my hand perfectly and they're still my grip of choice.

Eagle Grips "Classic"

Very attractive yet practical. Despite their appearance they are much thinner than the oversize target factory stocks, which feel to me like holding a baseball bat on the wrong end. Honorable mention: Hogue Monogrips.

Pachmayrs on mine. Pachmayr makes a square butt K-frame style that doesn't cover the backstrap.

Hogues are good, but Pachmayrs fit me better.

Pachy Grippers on my model 10. They are comfortable, work well, and don't look bad, IMO.

To be honest, the best shooting I've ever done in DA with a model 10 was with the stock grips.

I'd gladly trade my Pachys for a nice set of stock wooden grips.
