Looking for the next handgun ;)

Only room for 1 more gun? I vote to save your money. Get the Sig if you really want it. Check out a DW VBOB or one of the many CCO's out there from DW, F, EB.

A Glock 19/23 is allways a safe bet.

Well, the first thing of course is to get a 22. No self-respecting gun enthusiast goes without a 22LR handgun of some sort. ;)

I recommend a Ruger Mk. III Target model. You'll be amazed at the accuracy and the ease with which it is obtained.

If you really want to stick with a 45, I second the vote for a CZ 97B. I have one, and I vastly prefer it to a 1911. It's more comfortable, shoots better in my hand, has a 10 round capacity, condition 1 option, as well as DA/SA.

Here's a couple of videos of mine in action last week. The jam in the first one was probably due to not quite enough crimp on a reload of mine.

Kahr pm9 DLC

For Ccw and just a fine handgun to have on you try a pm9, I bought one and liked it so much that I bought another one and put it in the safe just to have a spare if needed. Its 9mm so its a decent caliber and almost disappears in a pocket holster.

Im having doubts about the cz97 guys. after thinking continuously about it, i have never had a DA gun and i have been reading alot about how with this gun specificlly there is a very long and hard trigger pull.

So im back where i started knowing alot more now. I want a high cap, Accurate 45 for carry, thats NOT a "sub"compact, And is all metal. 4'' barrel is the shortest i would go. that wont have my pants sagging while i walk. For $600-ish

I don't think the DA trigger on the CZ97 is bad at all. If you have big hands and can reach the trigger easily than you should have no problem at all. Like I said I've had two Sigs and I feel that the CZ97 has a better trigger than both of them.

Compared to a 1911, or the consistant pull on a G34 Glock the CZ DA trigger is horrible. The SIG P220 would be my metal .45 carry choice for a non 1911. I did carry a CZ PCR and the DA trigger is getting better with use but still typical of a CZ from the factory. There are ways to fix the triggers on a CZ, I have shot a SP-01 with an unbelievable trigger, cost of pistol around $1400... way too much. I have replaced the CZ with a SIG RCS 1911, real night sights and an excellent trigger. For a SD weapon to save a life, it has to be able to hit / neutralize a threat, I shot the CZ PCR well enough, but shoot the SIG way better, with a Glockworx trigger, the G34 can outshoot many 1911s, and have faster follow up shots as well. If you can carry such a large pistol I would, carry the G34 with a non compensated barrel, and install tritium night sights to complete the package.

Well this may come as a shocker but i bought a Glock 20 in 10mm... I read alot and alot about it and made my decision. I felt it would give me .357 capabilities in a 15 shot autoloader.

Funny how i was so opposed to polymer and ended up with one, lol.

Now when it comes to reloading for the 10mm, can i use my

Missouri bullet co. IDP #2
#401170M
.401 Diameter
.40 S&W/10mm
170 Grain SWC
Brinell 18

For both .40 & 10mm. Only because i plan to get the 40 cal conversion barrel for cheaper practice. But if im reloading i dont think it will make a difference.

My father ended up getting he CZ97B so i cant wait to try his out
