Louisville Range to open February 2, 2004.

I talked to Julie Yeager today who says that Sportsshooter's will open the range on February 2, 2004. Apparently, the "retail" portion is open now.

My wife & I have made the decision to drive to the nice indoor range in Lexington. It's a nice one hour drive and the range looks just great. I don't care for Ray.

Thanks Garrettwc, I edited my post to reflect the correct address. (I actually copied that address correctly but it is NOT on 4th street as my original post indicated.)

I have been there and knew it was on 1st street but just didn't notice when I made the post. Thanks for correcting me.

Anyway, I just wanted everyone to know. My feelings are that I probably(like KR) will be driving to Lexington for an indoor range. I do want to check out the new range though.

If my son decides he wants his CCW when he turns 21, I will definitely be taking him to BIR in Lexington for that. They DO have a nice facility.

Thanks for that info. I will be sure never to go to a range where the owners supported licensing and are in bed with California style, Gray Davis, Al Gore, type politicians that require a license to own or buy a gun.

Frankly, I don't see how this could pass with the KY Constitution as it is but I'm never surprised by what the antis can invent. This sort or thing needs more publicity among KY among gun owners so they don't patornize the place.
