I've been using the RCBS Tim Pro case trimmer for about a year now. It does a good job on the cases, but after doing 300 .45ACP cases the other night I started wishing for a powered trimmer. Lyman makes a trimmer that has an adapter on the shaoft to allow use of a cordless drill. Since I already have a Lyman power tool for case prep, this seems like it may be the way to go.
Here's my question though. Midway sells just the shaft and adapter for about $45 less than the entire trimmer kit. The Lyman trimmer and especially the shaft look amazingly similar to the RCBS TrimPro versions. Does anybody know if the Lyman shaft would fit the RCBS Trim Pro. I realize I'd probably have to order the Lyman cutting heads and pilots, but this would still save me some money (yes, I'm cheap).
