Just started loading for my new Ruger (.45 ACP) Using the large drop tube the casing just barely covers the end. Has anyone had this problem. Hands are not the steadiness and I am afraid I will spill powder. Any help greatly appreciated

Never had a problem.
A .45 case fits in mine at least 1/8".

I have three of them and wouldn't use anything else.

HP-38, 5.2g, Montana Gold 200g, JFN. I guess I am use to the .223 fits up farther in the small drop tube. Thanks

My cases fit like Mr rc's about 1/8" inside, the drop tube is "funneled" in the end so if you hold that case up in there you won't spill anything,,,
