I got my M-39 to the range on Sunday, and it is an excellent shooter. Vertical POI is as expected, however at 100 it's impacting about 3 to 4"- which is something that is easy enough to compensate for. Hoewerver, I was wondering how I can go about adjusting the front sight for windage to bring it centered. Is it a screw adjustment (I know there is a couple screws in the front sight assy) or a tap adjustment (I don't see where I would be able to drift the sight).

Thanks

You should have a blade with two ears protecting it. Look on each ear. There should be one set screw on either side.

If you want to drift the front sight to the right, loosen the screw on the right and the front sight will move that way. Tighten the front sight down again by tightening the left side screw.

I'd do a pictorial but I have a Russian M44 instead of a Finnish M39, and mine drifts with a punch.

P.S. 7.62x54r.net may have something about this. J.S.
