Just saw a flyer today for the M&M ak-47. I think it was a model m10. Can anyone help with quality and what kind of price I should be looking for? They look awesome! It has a quad rail, tapco break, hogue group, collapsible recoil reducing stock, pro mag, and rail covers. I am seriously debating one right now. Any help is appreciated.

Mine has proven to be an excellent rifle. Very accurate, the trigger is nice and the gun feels very solid and well built, I've had no issues with it so far. They are built on all new Romanian Cugir parts with just enough US parts to make them 922r compliant. In my opinion they are probably the best AK for the money and easily on par with Saiga in quality and a step above the CAI built AK's.

Buy one you will not be disappointed!

Here's mine....

nwilliams pretty much nailed it on the m10, i ordered one with the side folder. and you can always fix it up to whatever you like

Everything I've heard says these are good quality rifles. I think price wise they're usually in the $550 range.

ifit... that's a sweet Tantal... who did you order it from? where did you get those sweet handguards?

JohnnyK, I'm not sure where ifit got that from but just as an FYI that's not a Tantal. That's a Romanian built M10-7.62. They look a little similiar but there are quite a few differences. You might check with Atlantic Firearms to see if they have any of those, or a Polish Tantal, in stock.

pictured is my romy m10, w/bulgarian bakelite furniture purchased from copes distributing. heads up on the bakelite upper furniture, its loose and not snug fit compared to a wooden upper. purchased my m10 from aims on their 2nd batch. they had a 3rd batch then sold out, and that seems to be it. they also sold out on their first run of the m10s in 5.45 after that never a 2nd batch. seems everyone is trying to get one..at least AKs in general. centerfire has the m10 5.45 in stock, but the 7.62 is out.

@RobG...you are right... Atlantic has them for $619... dude, I work in Cypress... and live in Katy... small world...

@ifit... dude that furniture does look super sweet... much nicer than standard Tantal furniture... upper doesn't have to be tight.. how tight is the lower handguard? Centerfire has the fixed stock... I want the folding stock... I'm sure the demand will go back down after the election... but I may be needing an "advance on my Father's day present" to get one soon... man, they are nice

I just returned from the NRA show and examined their whole line. Very high quality, fit and finish - All new parts. Don't think they will stay at these prices long. With the current buying trend, i'd look at increases. (No relationship wth them other than wanting one and wish they were making their PSL in 7.62x54R instead of .308)

@greysmoke.... making me jealous.... I've been wanting a PSL.... I settled for Saiga in .308... I guess you can't have "too many hunting rifles"... what is the model #? you know who sells them?

on my m10 serial number then after that is 11, i beleive it points to the receiver being made in 2011.

If it's an 11 inside an oval, it would indicate Polish manufacture, and inside a double circle would be Bulgarian.

who sells the PSL? Also, @ GreySmoke.... did you see Romney @ the convention?
Same people sell the PSL as the M+M M10's Just getting a bit harder to get.
No I didn't go to see the speakers, only the exhibits. I was also looking at the 300AAC AR-15 uppers. Every manufacturer I spoke to about them is back-ordered on them. DS Arma has the best price though @$320-335

JohnnyK, It is a small world, I live in Cypress and work on occasion in Katy. If you're interested in the M10 Tomball Pawn had one two months ago when I was there. It was a fixed stock with the railed forend but that's all swappable. I'm not as much of an expert on Romy's as ifit is but I believe the Romy folding stock bolts in to the stock tang so you don't have to replace the rear trunnion to install one. Hopefully he'll check back on this thread and let us know if I'm right on that one or not.

zoom6zoom, the rifle were talkin about is the romanian m10. so the markings you mentioned...neither one exists on this romaninan akm varaiant. its on the receiver and nothing on the trunion.

@Rob G... thanks for the heads up... I'll call Tomball Pawnshop tomorrow... and see if it'll be more to buy one and switch the rear or just get one the way I want with folding stock... cool thing about living in the Cypress/Katy areas is so many good ranges... Hotwells (they have awesome tactical pistol and rifle classes), American Shooting Center, Impact Zone (you ever checked out their 3-gun matches?), Tactical Firearms (new one in Katy).... and of course Shiloh...

Mine was 550 OTD and has been perfect. The mag lock up is rock solid and the overall feel is great. It is the best bang for your buck AK out there. If you want one buy it now because the price will go up once word gets out about how great they are.
