My 340 M&P went back to S&W for the cylinder freezing up. It got to where I couldn't even pull the trigger through it's stroke.
Dollar an Hour-You are tough on your toys! Let us know what your cryptic repair report says.
I've settled on Remington Golden Sabre .357 as a carry load. Shoots real nice out of the 340. Tolerable recoil, and better-than-.38 ballistics. Nice balance for this wheelgun IMO.
+1 on ammo 2 go. Good service and prices. I order quite a bit of ammo from them.
That'd be 125gr...what gr on the RGS .357 you carrying?
Cryptic note reads : "Customer complaint: end shake & cylinder cramping. Repaired yoke"
Was gonna get the laser but the gun at S&W said it's pretty useless as it's hard to find that dot in an emergency situation.
Also, what's the absolutely hottest load out there that the gun will safely handle for say Bear (emergency and not hunting) and is there something that will penetrate a bear skull?
We don’t recommend this ammo to be fired in super light alloy revolvers as bullets may jump crimp under recoil, but the ammo itself wont hurt these super light weight revolvers. These revolvers are simply so light that the recoil is severe enough to cause crimp jump.
If I may, I will suggest a completely different revolver for bear protection.
Ok, I'll bite, what is it? Did you get a Seecamp .380 or a Rohrbaugh 9, or a PM 9?Well, I finally found my dream subcompact auto.
Three guesses what I still carry 97% of the time...
Love my 340 w/CT!!!
