M1 Carbine rear sight question

Ok, without having one in front of me, I have to ask. Will an M1 carbine type 2 rear sight fit the dovetails on a mini-14?

Don't have a Mini 14 to check, but the carbine rear sight has a male dovetail which measures .472".
