Magpul MOE Handguard + loose vertical foregrip question

Hello all,

After purchasing my AR15 a few weeks ago, I've since outfitted it with some Magpul furniture, such as the pistol grip, handguard and vertical grip. One thing I noticed was that after installing the vertical grip, it seems to loosen up after a while to the point that it has a slight swivel. It feels stable enough, but I was wondering if this was normal or if there was something wrong with the handguard/grip or the way I installed it. Anybody have any experiences?

Which part is loose? The grip or the rail to which it is fastened?

Disassemble. Inspect. Reassemble with Loctite 242.

The rail that the grip is attached to. The grip itself is solidly on the rail. It's the rail attached to the handguard that seems to come loose.

Yep, follow post #3. If it won't stay snug, something is wrong. If all the components are from Magpul, contact them.

Since you used Magpul hanguards, they make a VFG just for those handguards that attach without the need for a rail. I don't believe that their rails for the MOE handguards were intended for use with a VFG. The rails are polymer after all.
