I am working on an AR15 build (thankfully I acquired the rifle pre-panic ) that uses the VLTOR CASV-EL, which is a piggyback mount free float handguard, as a piggyback mount handguard it attaches to the flattop rail of the AR15's upper and replaces it with its own rail, so all scopes now attach to the handguard's piggyback rail. If I attach a Magpul Rail Sling attachment to the same rail is the pressure of the sling and the weight of the rifle on the handguard when the rifle is slung going to affect the rail or the scope's zero?
Here is a picture of the rail mounted to someone else's gun so you can get an idea of the setup, the Magpul RSA would be attached to the top rail near the FSB.
