Mail Order Guns (Hollyweird screws with peoples minds)

The problem is many people believe movies and television are reality.

Including some DHS tools that think 24 is real - torture works and the bad guys are always the ones you just found.

What keeps people from illegally shipping guns to some kid's house?

My favorite so far: last night I heard about a guy who had just finished his FFL paperwork - 6 months of background checks and interviews. He ordered a gun and had it shipped to his address, then left for a week on vacation. Came back and it's sitting on his porch and had been for days - they jokers shipped UPS, no sig required. I can't even get amazon stuff like that, and I order books.

No, (orange tip thing)'s so the cops will hopefully not shoot some kid who pulls out an airsoft pistol in public. It has nothing to do with them being intercepted and confiscated while in transit.

That worked out well. Cops will still shoot if they know what's good for them, since the thugs have taken to painting their gun tips.

The fact is that cratigslist actively looks for and removes only 2 types of adds, those gun related, and those containing racially derogatory language, because Craig Newmark does not approve of them.

Well, it is his site. I would sort of expect that, since he's based in SF.

Doesn't Canada have about the same number (or more) guns per capita than the US with astronomically lower rates of gun violence?

Also, it's colder there. Seriously, people don't commit as many crimes when it's cold. Oh, and it's apparently easier to get some sort of welfare/medical coverage if you're indigent, so there's not as much of the pure desperation. I'm sure they still have the scum, though.
