Pennsylvania has removed Maine from the list of states it had a reciprocity agreement with. PA now just lists them as a state a PA resident can apply for a non resident prmit. When Maine went permitless carry they also changed their statute on how they honor other states. They removed reciprocity from their law and now it just stats they will honor anyone who honors them. Maine removed the listing of 8 states they had agreements with and replaced it with a link to their new statute. Agreements usually have a inform clause stating if a states laws change that could affect the agreement the state will notify the other state. Maine most likely did and so the PA AG dropped them. They could have honored them without an agreement as they honor about a dozen other states without an agreement. www.handgunlaw.us has been updated to show this change in reciprocity. You can see both states listings at the links below.

PA had issues with the Utah permit a while back, but I believe it got ironed out. According to Carry Concealed USA it was.

Funny though, Nevada, right next to me won't honor my CC permit.

Stupid PA. :)
Maine kept it's regular CCW permitting system intact for people that wanted to maintain their reciprocity with other States. (Our closest neighbor New Hampshire is the main reason).

We have a Constitutional Right to carry a firearm, but no where does it state we have a Right to put a jacket on. That's not what our founding fathers would have wanted... :D

Stupid PA...
Yes, especially our current AG. She has just lost her law license & has the legislature considering her suitability for holding that position.
I'm of the opinion that she will be replaced, hopefully with a AG more in the RKBA traditions of Pennsylvania.
