MAK90 Pin Help...

I need a front sight pin for my Norinco MAK90, as it seems one has gone missing.

I suppose that front sight pins are generally the same size despite the country of origin, but for reference the remaining pin, that I do have, is about 15/32" long and 3/32" diameter.

So far, I've only found two places that may have the correct pin. Global Trades has a set of four, that seem to be about the right size. K-VAR has a single front sight/gas block pin on their site, but no dimensions listed.

I've got e-mails into both companies for assistance, but no responses as of yet.

Can anyone confirm that one or both of these pins will fit, or direct me somewhere that definately has the correct pin.

Well, so far I have a possible maybe from one of the folks at Gunsnet Forums. Still nothing from either of the companies. I guess a phone call may be in order.

The more I look at it, the pin listed on K-VAR's site appears as if it would work fine. Though, I found that while the pin itself is only $1.49, shipping will be around $10-$11. What a bitch...

So maybe I'll just do without the second pin for a while and hope for the best, or maybe it's a sign I need to buy a K-VAR stock set for my other AK to help justify the shipping cost.
