There's these two documentaries on SPIKE TV called MANswers and Deadliest Warrior, and they make ridiculous mistakes all the time, but in a recent episode, "What's the biggest handgun you can buy?", they called a 357 Magnum a 357 SuperMag when it was a standard 357, and they said it fires bullets 1.5 inches long. Those must have great sectional density!
Also, the answer was the 500 Magnum, which is not the biggest handgun. The Zeliska is. And there are many huge old blackpowder handguns, handcannons, etc.
On the documentary Deadliest Warrior, they frequently have inane and illogical methods of determining which weapon is "better" and use different tests for different weapons. These tests usually consist of shooting a gelatin dummy or a pig while screaming "Awesome!" and laughing.
On the whole, these shows are an offense to your intelligence, they are not academic or well-researched, and nothing on them could ever be published in any peer-reviewed journal.
Do not take firearms facts from these shows.
