I'm thinking to sell my 3 month old CZ-75B stainless with woodgrips. I find that I prefer blasting the .45 round in my Kimber and I like the .45 round as a whole. I go to the range maybe twice a month if I'm lucky so shooting .45 ammo won't be as expensive as shooting it weekly.

What's the market like for used CZ-75B in excellent/like new condition? I looked on Buds as a baseline and found only 1 available in satin nickel for under $500.

Not sure I can get one new for 600 & almost did today... figure out a price & send me a pm

Don't expect to get anywhere near retail. Like anything once you use a CZ the price drops fast. Check out the closed auctions to get an idea of what people are paying for NIB and LNIB. One thing to keep in mind is that other than the pre-B there's not a high demand for CZs on the used market. Good luck with your sale.

Your best bet would be to go to the CZForum and post your CZ75B in the CZ Classifieds. Don't be surprised if you get a nibble right away.

I missed a used one like yours on gunbroker for $400 in mint condt, but it did not have wood grips. The same guy had a new one he had never shot, and it went for $450. The reason I did not buy it is he ended the acution in the middle of the day.

You can buy new ones for $516 here.

I've been looking for a used stainless in the $400's PM me if you would like to sell it to me and are willing to ship.

75B Stainless...

Again, CZ just had a price increase and the MSRP for the 75B Stainless is now $716... Current retail $$ NIB is probably in the $575-600 area... I would think LNIB with 'wood grips' should be started in the $500-550 range... an go from there.
Ditto Cliff47, would look at the CZ Forum 'Classifieds' and either post in that range or look back for any past sales of a 75B Stainless (remember Stainless and Nickel have different prices)... Good Luck, shouldn't have a problem selling!
.

$500 is a fair number. Used CZs are dogs it is the downside of the low up front cost.

CZ isn't going to sell many at $716, I'll tell you that!

It's a great gun and all, but apparently things are going to be getting better for US gun manufacturers with the dollar continuing to fall.

By and large, there is no reason to buy a used Type B CZ. They take a big initial depreciation because the warranty does not extend to the second owner. (This is one reason why cars from KIA and Hyundai take such a big initial hit. That impressive warranty doesn't follow the vehicle.)

The other reason is the price point, which has already been mentioned. Not very many people are interested in used over new just to save $50 or so.

I've seen 2 CZ's in poly go for $350 shipped recently on glocktalk. So maybe $425 shipped for stainless.

I agree you take a hit on virtually any used gun. I recently sold a pristine West German Sig P-226 for $500.00.

Anyone seen the cost of new Sigs? Even Sig CPO's are going for around $500.00. CZ's don't have the percieved market value of a Sig so the depreciation is greater.

I find that I gravitate to the used display cases, and find some very reasonable prices on the older (Pre-B and transitional) CZ75 pistols. I figure, let somebody else take the hit on the depreciation.

Unless you need the cash really bad clean it, lube well and put away in time you may want to shoot again or sell and at that time it may increase in value if we follow the current trend of everything going up.

He may be like me, and hates to own something he never shoots, when he could put the money into something else.
