Got calipers and a reloading manual? Measure the length of your ammunition and then check with the reloading manual.

I'm certainly not going to tell you to buy $150-$160 worth of parts based on what I think is wrong with the gun. Add to that the fact that I have no idea what, if any, fitting is required for the install.

Wish I could help you with a gunsmith recommend in your area but I don't know of anyone close to you.

This guy used to have a pretty good reputation. I'm not saying he doesn't now, just that I don't have current information on him.

I suggest you go over to www.marlinowners.com.
Many very knowledgeable Marlin affectionados, that probably can trouble shoot your Marlin instantly.

Given the age of your “Remlin”, I suggest a poorly machined lifter/lever.
Marlin will repair it under warranty. I’d give them a chance to make it right before you go too far and void your warranty.

Given the age of your “Remlin”, I suggest a poorly machined lifter/lever.
Marlin will repair it under warranty. I’d give them a chance to make it right before you go too far and void your warranty.

Thanks I'll give Marlin owners a try .Since I've been inside of it ,I doubt remlin will warranty it. And I'm weary of the C/S at this point.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve been in it. As long as you didn’t grind or file something, or cause the problem it doesn’t matter.

Your jam is a well known common Marlin flaw that can be corrected by a parts swap. Call them. Likely they’ll send you a box with shipping label to send it back.
Again, checking in over at marlinowners would have revealed the cheap, easy solution.

I posted over on the marlin forum and one of the mods over there said he will put me in contact with one of his friends who is a tech for marlin. I may take him up on the offer.

I took one last video just to see if it's something I'm missing before I send it off. It's not pressing to get it fixed because I have other deer rifles, but I do want to make it right. Excuse the awkard breathing,did not realize it untill I uploaded it lmao.

With the loading gate and loading gate spring removed, will it reliably feed dummies?
