I'm searching for a new sight for the old 30-30. I started shooting it and thought a scope was the answer. That didn't really work out so now I'm back to iron sights. I have a variety of loads I use so something easily adjusted would be best IMO.
The gun will be used mostly for range shooting, meaning I will probably push it as far as my eyes will let me. I might also do some coyote or deer hunting later this year. For that application ranges will be more reasonable, like 150 or 200 yards max with 160 grain FTX or Nosler 170 grain Partition bullets.
I've considered Rangerpoint sights, and started looking at William's peep sights. Any other suggestions?
