Maverick 88 Marine

Hey guys my brother bought a 870 Nickel Marine and gave me his Maverick 88 Marine 12 ga. He purchased it new many years ago. I didn't know the 88 came in a nickel and plastic version. Anyone have any history on this shotgun. It's never been fired but I plan to fix that part. It looks factory, just kinda curious what I have

I love my Maverick 88, but I'm not aware of any version other than the standard black/composite ones. Mine's at least 10 years old.

How odd, Guess I can write and ask Mossburg if they did a factory nickel version

My brother just came across this one a few months ago. Maverick 88 Marine in nickel & stainless with poly furniture. Less than 30 shells through it. He's already talking about selling for a Marlin 30-30 after seeing one I brought home yesterday.

I haven't seen one of those before. I don't think they make them anymore. (with the marine coat)
