We have a slightly different philosophy here in Oregon , if our elected officials point a weapon at us and threaten to shoot us , in the ass or anywhere else , we will assume that they have gone off the reservation and respond to the threat in an appropriate fashion . He only feels comfortable making that threat because he has made sure that no one else in the room is armed .

Anti gunners have no argument that carries water. It's all about emotion and political correctness. You give them facts all day long and they ignore them.

We need only remember to not vote for anyone that espouses gun control.

Write letters to the editor and make phone calls to newspapers and politicians whenever you see something that is blatantly untrue and anti-gun.

I believe Mr Daley suffers from RCI (Rectal-Cranial-Inversion).

Mayor Daley is one of the charter members with Bloomberg of "Mayors Against Illegal Guns".

Only they are not against illegal guns (stolen, fenced, smuggled, straw purchase in criminal hands for criminal purpose illegal guns as the rest of us use the term).

They are for making ALL guns ILLEGAL. See Chicago handgun ban, see Sullivan Act, look at what they support as "legal" guns. Not guns purchased legally for self-defense or sport by ordinary citizens; at best (worst in my opinion) they support legal guns only for security guards, private contractors in the mold of Baldwin-Felts or Pinkertons or Blackwater, celebrity carry for self-defense, sporting use by elite members-only club members, and the hoity-toity.

Mayor Daley will be ranked with Frank Rizzo ("I'll make Attila the Hun look like a faggot!") when the history of Thug Mayors of the USA is written. No doubt Daley thinks the reporter ought to apologize to him.
