I finally got around to getting an Aimpoint for my AR15. It came in a package deal from Palmetto State Armory along with a Magpul MBUS rear sight. I've been running a Larue fixed BUIS, but I wondered if I'd like the cleaner sight picture that I'd get with a folding rear sight. Since the MBUS was handy, I popped it on my rifle, and I liked what I saw (or didn't, as the case may be). Since I'm clearly liking the folding rear sight, now I have to wonder about the durability of the MBUS. Would I do better with a Troy sight? Bear in mind that this is for a rifle for which I've taken care NOT to cut corners. Most of it is LMT, BCM, Daniel Defense, etc. It's not that cost doesn't matter at all, but we're really only talking about $50 difference between the Troy and MBUS. I'll make more than that just selling the Larue BUIS that will be replaced by whatever folding sight I choose. So, putting aside the cost difference, which is the better folding rear sight?
