Medusa Good Or Novelty?

Anybody ever had one or still does? I've never seen one at a gun show or any store, let alone anybody who has one.

The idea sounds perfect for the range, or a backup to almost half the handguns out there!

Do they still make them? Hows accuracy, reliability...etc.?

I missed an opportunity to pick one up three times and I've been kicking myself ever since. A dealer at a show had a pair, 6" and 4", that I just didn't have the money for, and then that same dealer came back a year later with the same two that were purchased right before I showed up...and then I got scooped on a local FTF deal for a 4" one. Next one I see (if ever) I'm going to jump on.

No, Philips & Rogers doesn't make them anymore, and the deal with their trick-cylinder/extractor being worked into Colt wheelguns didn't pan out, either.

Man, it would've been nice to put practically any 9mm/.357/.355-ish round through the pipe. From what I understand, however, they're most accurate with .357 stuff (.357 Mag, .38 SPL). The main appeal for me was that it allowed me to use the cheaper 9mm ammo in a revolver--I could get "cheap ammo", though, if I got into reloading...
