Metal Trigger Gaurd available in Mossberg 590?

I have a question regarding the Mossberg 590 series. Is the metal trigger gaurd available on other 590 models other than the 590A1? I have looked many places for this info, asked many dealers, an can't get any answer. Mossberg.com isn't clear on it.

I dont beleive so but I think you can buy the metal safety afterwards and have it installed. Im getting this tool tommorrow.

No, but you may check with Brownells, otherwise email Mossberg.

And please post any results, positive or negative, I and several other folks would like any answers you get.

If I remember corretly the"trigger assembly" can be purchase from mossberg, HOWEVER it must be done through a gunsmith/FFL. Mossberg does not trust the owner/shooter to install it. This is because of the liablity of get sued.

ps I have seen a one metal trigger assembly come up on ebay.
