Yes, we are easily tracked. Yet a committed individual(s) can always manipulate the tracking ability of any government particularly the USA's. There's a reason you BATFE boy's are harvesting SSN's and it's certainly not in the publics best interest, it's in the government's best interest........

I wasn't talking about 4473s. Here, our state police graciously demand our cooperation.

Papieren, bitte ...

Here is there, ESE from you, about 150 miles shy of the Atlantic coast. I don't go into a lot of details any more.

Off books is best, when it can be done. It's legal as church on whatever day of the week you prefer, here in AZ. Also, AZ does NOT do forward tracing, (some time selling guns+being good friends with other FFLs), and access the 4473 only when subpeonaed by LE. 4473s 25 years old or older, at an active FFL are shredded and burned.

All this information must be available to all governments that are involved in the NAA (North American Alliance). After all if we are all truly to be as one, then all borders must be open and all privileged information must be exchanged. Free trade demands a level field. Forget the constitution! It is a living document, after all. Praise Dubyuh!!!!

All right, does everyone have their (made in China) tin foil hats?

Ohh I see............I'd sure like to see what states are demanding federal documentation to exercise your constitutionally affirmed 2nd rights.....
Supernaught, I was not refering to you.......

This is just great...Now BESIDES Mexico "fleecing" America thru all the "freebies" to which they are currently "entitled" they'll NOW have access to free SS #'s in ADVANCE via Form #4473's. Yeah that's a plan...WHAT FREAKING IDIOTS.

gbran, DENALI:

NEWS FLASH: I don't know where you guy's hail from but I've purchased Approx (8) Rifles within the past (2) years and have tried on several occasions to "opt out" on the line that requests my SSN....Try it next time you attempt to make a purchase...and see if it "flies"...Just as 'takhtaakal' says NO number NO Gun..PERIOD... and that includes LONG GUNS...!!

RonSC

I have never included my SSN on any form, state or federal when purchasing an firearm of any length, even whilst being asked to by the nics lads. Am I to understand that SC is demanding this of there citizenry....
P.S. excuse me a bit I'm off to the library........

look I am not fearing the US government being able to track me down now that they have my SSN, thinking that they couldn't do it before.

My fear is Mexican Police having my SSN, and them selling my info to basically anyone from white trash in South Carolina to wannabe gangstas in Russia, who will then claim to be me and apply for a ton of credit cards, run up the balances, then laugh. My second fear is those same Mexican Police having my SSN will give this info to the guys who make fake I.D.s for mexicans wanting to work in the USA, because the best method employers now have is checking to see if the SSN provided by the prospect is a real one or a fake one. So now no more randomly made up numbers, they will all use real SSNs, just other people's SSNs. And now they have them in an easy to access list.

Well, the Federales will be busy reading because most gun owners reckon the Dems will be back in the White House a year from now and we're buying as many guns and high-cap magazines as we can afford.

Better buy the Cliff Notes version, senor.

:neener:

:eek:Yes the whole point is we do not wish for the cartel's, Oops I mean Mexican government to have access to our records do we! According to the "American's For Gun Safety" website:eek: the inclusion of an SSN is strictly voluntary and not required to complete any firearm sale, something I've long been aware of. If you're including this info on your form's because someone is demanding it, you need to clarify as to why, and just who is demanding this info be made available.....;) I would very much like to hear your verifiable transactions where this was required..:scrutiny:

The mexican police are just going to be stealing the private imformation that American police won't steal.

SSN on the 4473 is voluntary per Federal law. State law should not be able to force it, but the SS# has been violated and raped in the last several years.
Now, do expect if there is a similar last name in your area with "bad" things attached, you may be "delayed". Don't forget the three day rule, three working days to deny, no denial means automatic approval.
And it means we have GOT to get someone in with the stones to kill OFF this stupid law.

Heh... the tin foil hat quotient is strong in this thread...

I don't recall ever writing SSN on a 4473. Not that it matters; if "they want to find you" they can.

I was under the impression that the 4473's were destroyed after 5 years, and the government only gets one that is linked to a gun that is recovered as being used in a crime.

They CAN be destroyed after 20 years but if the FFL goes out of business first they have to send their 4473's to the atf.
