Michael Moore. 100% idiot.. why care what he thinls?
The history of gun control in North America is the history of violent White supremacism.I've heard that before, but don't remember the specifics. I'm not pro-gun-control at all, but how are gun control laws racist?

Beers for life!Moore is the slimiest of the Hollywood liberals.
So our folk have more guns than the white dudes. Interesting. Guess you folks need to start spending more time in the gun shops.I have NO idea if these stats are valid, but the Ethnic breakdown is about a screen height down the page:

Race
White 44 %
Non White 27 %
Black 27 %

More in depth from Gallup:

Please pass the salt...
Yep.Since the US population is 72% white, it makes sense that the majority of gun owners are white. I'd bet that the actual numbers (not Moore Math) track pretty closely to 70%.
Let's hope so.Moore is becoming increasingly irrelevant

Now I hadn't considered Hanoi Jane. Not unless Jane Fonda died, and I missed it.
I'd be willing to concede he's #2. A *lot* of #2.

No disrespect, but literally nothing in this response answers the question, what makes gun control laws racist? Many gun control laws prevent poorer people from buying guns.
Many minorities in the US are poor due to having been discriminated against for the majority of American history.
Gun control laws are strictest in cities and urban areas.
Many minorities live in cities and urban areas for historical reasons related to discrimination.
Many gun control laws were written to prevent the "wrong kind of people" from getting guns.
Minorities were considered the "wrong kind of people" for centuries.

Sorry, please replace 'white folks' with 'European-Americans.'
Yes, please. As one of those "white folks" I'm terribly offended by that characterization.
