This is not an opinion, but a fact. The Micro Desert Eagle is a blowback action and as stated before kicks like a mule and I should know because I own one.I bought the LCP first and traded it after buying the MDE as the Eagle (to me, at least) kicked less than the Ruger and is more accurate. I don't shoot the Eagle much since I got the Kahr .380, but I haven't gotten rid of the Eagle. It's a fun gun, just not as much fun as the Kahr.
I think you would be wise to shoot both before you buy.
Yes the Micro does kick hard but I would hardly call it a miserable pistol. Mine shoots everything I have put into it without a hiccup and it is a really well made gun.The micro eagle is a miserable excuse for a pistol. Heavy and kicks hard and not very accurate. The LCP at $150 is a great buy. Reliable and accurate with a bit of a long trigger pull but at that price if you decide you don't like it you can make 30 to 50 bucks.
