Just got a new range bag from Midway. The thing is very well made and is huge. Comes with 2 gun rugs and more storage space than I currently need. It's their 'Competition' model. Best of all is the price: 30.00

Thanks for the tip. Just ordered one. Have been looking for a new bag, but didn't want to spend 70-80 bucks like a lot of them are.

I'm recharging the batteries in my digital camera.

I'll post pictures later today. Actual dimensions are 22" long, 15" wide, 10" deep. The two gun rugs are zippered fully enclosed and padded. The rugs are 9" x 13". The entire bag is well padded. There's a Midway logo on the lower right corner of the bag, but it's low-key and doesn't really detract from the overall appearance of the bag.
If there's anything wrong with the bag, some folks might say it's too big. I always take two handguns to the range though, plus 250 to 300 rds of ammo, earmuffs, eye protection, and other stuff too, so it's perfect for me. You could use the rugs that come with the bag and still have room for another firearm or two.
The price is 30.00, but don't forget you'll have to pay shipping. Mine was 40.00 delivered by UPS Ground. And if you live in Missouri, you'll probably have to pay sales tax too.
I bought a really nice I-Shot range bag 3 years ago. It's served me well and it's been an outstanding range bag, but I paid about 75.00 for it and it is now literally coming apart at the seams. I think the Midway is an outstanding bag. I'd say it stacks up favorably against most range bags out there today, and the price is certainly reasonable.

Pictures.

I did notice that the sale ends tomorrow (April 30). After that the price goes up to 60.00.

I just bought an ADC Sports bag from Gander Mountain similar to the one from Midway, except it has additional pods on each end for two handguns. My WalMart bag was getting too small.

$44.00.

I have the "Shooters Ridge Magnum Shooting Range Bag" which I also bought from Midway. I'm really happy with this product ... lots of space and pouches and the shoulder strap is really comfortable.

I got one at a local gunshop. It's outstanding!

I just ordered on of these the other day, the one ezy and doggy are talking about. Can't wait to get it. I saw a post on another forum about it last month, when the sale started, I think...

I heard about someone that said he had lined one up against a very similiar one that some companies sell for much more, like $80-$100 and said it was almost identical.

IIRC they were talking about one of the 5.11 Tactical bags.

I just don't know - been carrying all my range stuff in an old 5 gal. bucket for a long time. If I bought one of them fancy-pants range bags, I'd feel like I needed to wear a tie to go shoot'n.

lol obxned

I'm on the other end, I already feel like I should wear a tie w/ my current range bag, I'm trying to tone it down a little by getting an actual range bag.

See, when I bought my first gun not too long ago, the only practical thing I had to put all the gun stuff, extra mags, ammo, and eyes/ears for two people, was an old soft leather briefcase. The only reason I stopped using the briefcase was because the shoulder strap broke (ring ripped off the bag itself) and it was too heavy to carry my laptop and work stuff anymore, but other than that, it's a nice looking briefcase w/ extra compartments, so it's worked out well for just one gun.

The main reason I wanted to take advantage of this deal was for more room for more pistols and mags, but it did feel funny sometimes going to the range w/ such a nice briefcase in tow...

I dunno. How useful is a range bag for carrying tools, cleaning stuff and ammo? Not very.

Extremely.

I picked up some small boxes from the fishing aisle at K-Mart to organize all my cleaning goodies and tools. They have dividers and fit into the pockets of the range bag nice and snug. Dunno if I've ever been this organized before... about anything.
