I just placed an order with Grafs - total with shipping was $172. Exact same order from Midway would have been $186.
And, Grafs gave me a free t-shirt.
I don't think Midway is trying as hard as they used to.
$ 7,196,132.31 That was the total customer round-up contributions Midway has sent to the NRA as of a few minutes ago. I am proud to have contributed a small chunk of that, and I encourage all others to do the same. Yea, you may save a dollar or two once in awhile, but in order to win this war we have to contribute to where it does the most good. I have spoken to Mr. Potterfield on the phone some years back, and was impressed with his company's service. I will continue to be a customer. I have fifty-three invoices going back to 1998, the first year I started saving them. I have had much better customer service with them than most any other.
I am a retired Chgo Police Officer, i still live in Chgo. I have sent my credentials to but Midway and CTD. Neither one will sell me ammo or 'high capacity mags"! I don't think either one of these company's " LOVES the second amendment"! I try not to give them my money. This nation of ours is turning into a bunch of capons IMHO. Porterfield forces his employees to join the NRA to work for him. ( big 2nd ammendment guy RIGHT!) There are no laws restricting ammo or Mag sales to Illinois residents (ammo with F.O.I.D.card) No, there are no gun stores in Chgo. But across the street in the suburbs there are, and they sell to us knowing we live in Chgo.A great company. And Larry Potterfield and his family are EXTREMELY generous benefactors of shooting sports, programs, and 2A causes.
Cheaper than Dirt isn't. They are way down on my list of places to buy from.checkmyswag said:Im considering going with them instead of cheaperthandirt
