Discovered the above via the Feb. issue of The Blue Press that I receive now and then. Condolences to Mike's family. My experience with his company goes back to about 1980,when I bought a Dillon 550, which I still have,though I no longer use it as much as I once did. The servivce had from this machine can only be described as outstanding, the support, long after purchase and service has been outstanding too. Their No BS Warranty has been just that. Mike will be missed.

Learned of this today. First catalog in years that my wife didn't rip the cover off of.

I was introduced to reloading and Dillon products a long time ago. Customer service is great. Mike and I share some of the same passions, like guns, airplanes and photographing beautiful women. He will be missed.

I bought a 550B way back when. At the time I did, I was told that I'd get my monthly issue of the Blue Press for life. T'aint so no-mo. A few weeks ago I ordered my 2017 Dillon Precision calendar & asked when I did that, how'scome I no longer got the B-P. I was told that now if you don't order something every six months you get dropped off the list. I now have to wonder if Mike knew of the current policy. I too learned of his passing from that issue, the first I got after ordering the calendar. Furthermore, he died on the morning of election day, he died before the results were known.

I bought a Dillon 450 in 1978. It continues in use today along with 3 other Dillon presses. Dillon is the most reliable and best supported reloading equipment I own. So sorry to hear of Mike Dillon's passing. I hope his family does not sell out to some misdirected investment company.
