Put in the order for a VM-2 today; black with sharkskin trim. They quoted me 10 to 16 weeks. I ordered it about an hour ago so I'm a little antsy right now, but of course as the days go by I'll get more and more patient.

In the meantime... show me your Sparks holsters!

One thing I can say is, it will be worth the wait. Tony and the gang build good stuff-

They are well worth the wait. I haven't used mine in several years, but if deep concealment were required, that's the holster I'd go to.

I have 3 now. 2 for the P7, and one for the EMP.

Great and they wear like IRON!. My first P7 holster is still in use routinely. I just got a spare a while back and have used it a few times than parked it.

They are well worth the wait.

Did you get a belt also? Very worthwhile!

Mainsail, what Sig is that? I'm not too familiar with their different models, but that looks like it has a nice carry melt on it

It's the ubiquitous Sig P239, the gun that kept me in 9mm. I've since married into a custom FireStar so now we have two 9mm handguns.

I have one for just about any gun I carry. Think I have 4 at the moment. Looking for pics....here is one I sold for an Officer size 1911.

THat pic is from 2005 and just realized I'm wearing the same belt in the pic. It's a Mitch Rosen.

Nice review, thanks for the info. I definitely love the BHP - the final three choices for my next gun were BHP, Kahr K9, and the CZ P-01, but in the end CZ won me over. The Kahr was just a touch too small, the BHP was just a touch too expensive (and I prefer DA/SA or DAO for my carry guns), and the P-01 was just right.

They have got a lot faster since I bought mine. It took me 6 months on most and 7 months for one . I really like them though .

I am and have been a big VM II fan. I have it for 1911 x 3 Govt, 2 Commanders, and one for my two EMP's (one is for my brace of Warrior rail models). Then HK P30 (also fits well for my HK45c, Beretta Vertecs and works for the 92 family and Steele One. Glock 17, HiPowers, S&W M&P full size, SIG 226&228 of course the 226 also works for the 220 too. Oh, my 225 too. I may have the first VM II for my brace of Walther PPQ ORIGINAL/classic mag release. The molds had arrived the day I ordered.

It sounds like the wait period is getting much better.

I have given several of the VM II as gifts. I always order the horse hide with shark in black. I use bill Wilson's light & mag carrier finished in shark for my matching belt carrier. It is only available for single stack, and one that fits the Beretta/HighPower/SIG/Walther/cz etc sized double stack magazines. I am sure I forgot some magazines of mine that fit.

I guess I am saying I am a very big Fan for over 20-25 years, for IWB.

Good luck.

Fred

I am not going to post any pictures: you know what they look like. But I will say that the VM2 is easily the best holster I have ever owned or used. I own four of them. This is my daily carry holster (my only carry holster).

FWIW: I carry a Glock 17 in a VM2 year round. Doesn't matter if I am wearing a T-Shirt and shorts, no one every knows I am carrying. Point being, I carry a full sized gun and it is totally concealed.

Great holster, you will love it.

They quoted me 10 to 16 weeks.
When I bought a Watch Six in 2007 it took five months, so that is a big improvement. MS is good about being up front and honest about wait times instead of blowing smoke up your ... and will not charge your card until it is ready to ship.

was worth the wait wasn't it? see you added some vz grips to your cz.
