Just curious - there's a local club that is now doing ICORE matches on a weekend I'm not otherwise shooting any matches. I'd like to give this a try with my only suitable revolver (a S&W Mod 64) but I don't really anticipate really embracing this fully (my main game is USPSA Production and I plan on it staying that way).

For my revolver my gear is currently sparse. I have a backup competition belt that I'll be using. Holster-wise I've got a generic nylon Blackhawk holster with strap. I may use that or get a Fobus holster.

I also figure I need speedloaders and pouches. Anyone have any idea on how many of these I really need as a minimum? I have been searching around for a max allowed round count per stage and have been unable to find one, which has really hindered any estimate I might put on average round counts.

Also, right now I'm looking at Safariland 333 or CD-2 holders. As far as the speedloaders I know the Safariland Comp-III's are the most competition appropriate choice, but HKS loaders are half the cost. Kind debating between saving money on the start (which is good if I end up not liking shooting the revolver) vs just getting the best from the get-go.

Thanks!

I live in Columbia and I am interested in shooting in these as well, but need equipment. Really interested in any answers.

Cool - if you end up wanting to shoot it the club I'm talking about is Palmetto Gun Club in Charleston. They're holding matches every 3rd Sunday afternoon.
