Missouri Bullet Company Review

Missouri Bullet is good stuff. I've got a decent stock for .38 / .357 and they work great.

And yes, the bullets are lubed during the sizing process. If they're sized they should be lubed, so I'm not sure where you've found unlubed lead bullets before.

like I said in the video, this is my first time purchasing lead bullets. I was going to venture in to casting my own a while back but that never panned out and I know you have to lube those.

I have purchased several thousand .38/.357 cal bullets from Missouri. I have been very pleased and will continue to order from them. Shipment is very prompt and relatively cheap.
I am not an expert by any means but the quality meets my needs and the price is right. Out of all that I have bought, I found one single bullet that was a problem - it had no lube, not a bad average.

i TOOK A CHANCE and I like the bullets in 300,405 for my 45/70 I just wish they had a a few with different weights - like 350 or 425gr.Next order I will have to SPLIT the order between them and beartooth.

Can't address the actual bullets---yet.

I placed an order, but since after 5 days I had no status, I emailed Brad. He responded within a couple hours, and noted that they were going as fast as they could.

Two days later, my order has shipped.

That's how customer service is supposed to be done. KUDOS to the folks at MBC.

They seem to be a small operation, but have the ability to crank out a bunch of product at a cheap price. Cheap, made in the USA, small company, everything I like to hear when I'm buying something.

All lead bullets come lubed its nothing special. For the price of lead you can find pulled bullets that can be shot at full power with no worrys about leading. I have shot a lot of lead bullets and would rather shoot something closer to what I would really shoot unless of cource you just want a light shooting load.

If you find that your gun shoots as-cast bullets more accurately then sized, you then order as-cast bullets and tumble- or pan-lube them. You save some on the purchase and get more accurate bullets.
It is part of finding what works best in your gun(s).

Really? I shoot full powered lead loads all the time. My Missouri Bullets hold up just fine.

Mo Bullet 180 grains helped put some gourmet wild boar on my table recently. 180g with max load imr4227 . . . end results here ... so I'm happy

Savage, I was addressing Muddydogs' claim that he could get pulled (FMJ or plated) 147 grain bullets "for the price of lead." :)

I'm also a big fan of Missouri Bullets.

Yeah, hell, I'd like that link too. Next reload project after the 7.62x39's is 1k of .45's so I'd love a decent price on those.

Where can you get pulled 147 grain 9mm pills for ~8 cents a shot, shipped? Post a link if you have one.
Yeah I would like to know too. Cheapest I've seen pulled 9mm for us 5 cents each at Midway (NLA now) but do not know anybody else selling for this cheap any more.

For plated you'll have a hard time doing better than Berry's from tjconevera's IMO. I've loaded 2K of the 230 gr. plated and my next order is going to be the 185 grain hollow base plated. People here rave about them.

MBC has some great prices on lead of course. :)

Placed my first order Thursday night, received them yesterday (Monday). Significantly less expensive than any of the dealers I have used for Oregon Trail.

You'll have a tough time beating another manufacturer as responsive on all ends as Missouri Bullets. I asked for special sizing on .311 lead bullets for my .30-30 and received them four days later, ahead of their email estimate. MB is an excellent company to place your orders with.
