What kind of bullets does Missouri Bullet Company sell? They say they are an alloy of metals and lead. I would like to buy some .40 bullets to shoot from a Beretta 96 as well as 9mm, .40, and .45ACP to shoot out of Glocks. Can Missouri's bullets suite these needs? What load data should I use? Are they jacketed bullets, lead bullets, etc.? I would like to use them for general plinking and target shooting. Thanks.

From what I understand lead in Glocks is bad, either use jacked bullets or buy a different barrel. I don't know if plated bullets will work in Glocks over long periods.

Plated bullets are fine. In fact I have pushed them to jacketed specs without an issue.

I wont argue with anyone in this thread, but.......
It is well covered in multiple threads, lead is not impossible to shoot in a glock. You dont hear people complaining about not being able to shoot it in HKs that are polygonal rifled, do you?

It takes a few precautions. It helps to slug the barrel and order the exact diameter bullet, but not really necessary, I have always been fine with .452s in my glock and uncles g21. That being said, you cannot push lead overly fast in a glock. They are target loads, dont try to load over that. I am cool to 850fps in my glock, any more than that and I start to lead. Pay attention to what you are doing and its no different than shooting lead in any other gun. Myths get repeated and then become fact.
